How’s Your Signature?

How’s your siggy (signature)? Is it current?  When was the last time you updated it?  I hadn’t realized how old mine was until I decided to participate in this month’s Siggy Challenge at Pickleberrypop.  I was long overdue!  By the way, my old siggy was almost 2 years old.  Eek! How is that even possible?  Here’s my new one.  The colors in this kit make me smile 😉

If your siggy is looking a little out of season or you just want something fresh, check out this month’s Siggy Challenge hosted by Beth.  You’ll be glad you did!  I think it’s fun to show a little of your personality in the forums and this is your chance.

New Releases are Live at Pickleberrypop May 12, 2020

New releases are live at Pickleberrypop!  This week I created a layout using Stand Tall, Stay Sweet by Chunlin Designs.  I loved this collection the minute I saw it and thought of my granddaughter immediately.  Her Dad, my son, has done everything he can to teach her to stand up and respect herself & to expect respect from others.  She’ll soon be a teenager. I sincerely hope she remembers the lessons she’s been taught as she enters this vulnerable stage of her life.  She’s incredibly smart, strong, sweet, outgoing, funny, and very insightful.  The photos are a couple of years old but her personality shines through.

Use It All Challenge at Pickleberrypop

The Use It All Challenge at Pickleberrypop this month is hosted by Vendula of Natali Designs. She’s provided a sweet little mini kit for you for free. All you have to do is create and post a layout using the mini kit. Here’s a preview of For You 2. You’ll find the challenge here.

And here’s the layout I created. I also wrote a little poem to go along with the layout. I was raised in a small coastal town on the Gulf of Mexico. I love the ocean & can recall all the senses associated with being near it. My poem speaks to some of the senses of the sea.
