It’s Pickle Barrel time at Pickleberrypop and today I have three layouts to share. I love the colors this month and the variety of products. The credits under each layout are linked to the store where you can also see all the designers collections that are available.

Not long ago I shared a little secret with you. If you didn’t receive my email you can sign up today to get all the news. Since the beginning of the year I’ve been working on a project I’m very excited about. Today, finally, I can see an end in sight.
Well, it’s more of a beginning than an end.
I’ve actually been working for years writing tutorials for digital scrapbooking. As a matter of fact, that’s probably how we met. You probably arrived at my site either looking for a tutorial or to visit one of my galleries.
Do you do what you love and love what you do?
Who wouldn’t jump at a chance like that? Many scrappers have told me they appreciate & learn a lot from my tutorials. Digital scrapping and teaching are my passions. And I love being able to help others on their digi-scrap journey. The seed was planted.
This is getting serious!
I must admit putting this all together has been a lot more work than I imagined! But it truly doesn’t feel like work when you’re doing what you love. I’m feeling a delightful mix of excitement and fear.
More details coming soon…

That’s right, it’s Pickle Barrel time at Pickleberrypop! What a busy week I have had. I love the color scheme and wanted to work with every new collection I saw. They’re all that good! This is my first Pickle Barrel since I joined the store creative team so I really had to reign myself in. I know, without a doubt, you’re going to have a difficult time too! Now without further ado, here are my layouts created with some of the gorgeous collections. The Pickle Barrel is open from August 21st through the 24th and you can mix it up any way you want! Each collection I used is linked below the layout. Individual packs can be seen in the Pickle Barrel Category. Woot, woot.

Alexis Design Studio has opened her new store at Pickleberrypop. Everything is on sale through August 19th. She has several gorgeous kits already in the shop so now’s the time to grab them.
Lexy is one of my favorite designers. Her flowers and lace are always perfect. I love her style and the beautiful colors. Every embellishment is unique with no duplications. Amazing!
Here is a layout I made using her new kit, Hello Summer. I love the combination of soft and lush colors. You can get it here.
Kit: Hello Summer

The second layout was created using, White Sands. When I saw this kit I immediately thought of these photos of my granddaughter. They’re a couple of my favorite photos and I think this kit and these photos were made for each other. And look at that delicate lace. Ooh-la-la!

Today I was honored to have my layout chosen as a Gallery Standout. This particular layout was created in tribute to Kim and my time at The Digichick. As many of you know, Kim, store owner and designer extraordinaire, passed away on July 11th. Keeping The Digichick up and running was determined to be too much for anyone else to handle. Kim had it down and managed it beautifully even in the midst of cancer treatments that would have taken most people out of the game. I was truly in awe at what she was able to do.
Kim was one of my all-time favorite designers. Yesterday I was reading through her blog. She shared many of her struggles but all the while continued to provide freebies for her fans. If you haven’t read it you should.
This is the layout chosen as a Gallery Standout. It tells how I felt as a customer in addition to being on the store CT. Many have expressed the same sentiments over the last couple of weeks.
The Digichick was my favorite store. The Digichick designers are my favorites too and the challenges were always fun. I love a good challenge! I will truly miss everything about it and the people there.
Today is the last day for purchases and the entire store is on sale. Don’t miss it! Shop here.
