New releases for March 24 are live at Pickleberrypop! I have several layouts to share today. In our current shelter at home environment, my internet is so slow it’s ridiculous. Layouts are taking multiple attempts to upload and it’s very frustrating. I’m sorry to be a little late but I had hoped starting very early this morning would make a difference. It didn’t! Sketches can be a great place to start a page design. March’s Sketch Challenge lets you choose from a variety of sketches to create a new layout. You don’t have to follow the sketch precisely but you must be close enough to identify the original sketch. I chose the following sketch.

March Tic Tac Toe Challenge at Pickleberrypop

Welcome to March and a whole new lineup of wonderful challenges at Pickleberrypop! This month I’m hosting the Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I hope you’ll join me in the challenge and create a layout choosing a column, row, or diagonal for the card provided. Here’s my layout.

I chose the middle column using the color green, camera charm (wildcard), and 2+ papers. The kit I used is Captured by Natali Designs.

Head over to the Tic Tac Toe Challenge and add your layout made with your selections from the Tic Tac Toe card. I can hardly wait to see your creation!

Photography Challenge at Pickleberrypop

If you’ve known me for long you know I love challenges.  The layout I’m sharing today is for the Photography Challenge this month at Pickleberrypop.  The challenge is to use one photo that depicts something, or someone, you love about your life.  Then split that one photo into at least two pieces.  Finally, add at least one line of journaling about it.  Like many of you, my grandkids bring me the most joy in life and I cherish time spent with them.

For the challenge, I blurred most of the large family photo and blended it into the background.  Then I focused and framed each of the grandkids separately.
