Berry Big Deals January 2019

Berry Big Deals are new in 2019 and I love them.  Berry Big Deals begin the third Tuesday of each month.  While similar to the Pickle Barrel of old it’s also different.  Designers all create coordinating kits but they’re also given a little more creative freedom in color and design.  Each designer is given three colors they must use and they add three additional colors. So you get amazing prices and gorgeous new designs with more variety.

As you can tell by the number of layouts I have to share today, I love this month’s Berry Big Deals.  If I had more time I would have created even more layouts because every time I saw another new kit I wanted to use it but alas my time is limited.  Here are my layouts and they’re all linked.

Creating an Outlined Title with a Woven Ribbon

Do you like weaving ribbon through titles or other elements?  I do.  It adds dimension to the layout and is a really nice touch.  This is the challenge I’ve set up for January at Pickleberrypop. I hope you’ll join me in creating a layout with an outlined title and ribbon weaved through.

Here’s the layout I created.  Head on over to do the challenge here.

Mystery Box Challenge at Pickleberrypop

Have you ever played along with the Mystery Box Challenge at Pickleberrypop?  You don’t know what’s included until you open it & look inside.  November’s Mystery Box is from Jumpstart Designs and there is a lot of cute things included.  I can’t tell you what because, well, that would spoil the surprise!  Here’s the layout I created of my super cute grandson.  This gives you a peak at a few papers and elements that you’ll get.

Just a heads up, the “J” in the title is not in the Mystery box but I did make it out of a tag that is included. So, I guess, that’s another hint of what you’ll find inside.  Click on the Mystery Box preview below to go to the challenge at Pickleberrypop.
