The new releases at The Digichick August 11 are incredible. After a busy, busy TDC 11th birthday celebration, the designers have more gorgeous goodies this week. How do they do it? I was happy that I got to play with several of the new products released this week.

Wow, the Digichick designers have really been busy bringing tons of new releases for July 28th! There are so many beauties, I wish I could have played with them all. I did get to use several and have many new layouts to share today.

One thing I love about being on the creative team at The Digichick is I never get tired of the new releases. Every week, week after week, I’m astounded by the new goodies and so excited that I get to work with this group. This week is no exception! So here’s my peek at the new releases for July 21st.

Today’s layouts all have one thing in common, they all use Kimeric Kreations’ new release Summer Skies. I don’t usually use the same kit for all my layouts but the colors in this kit were perfect and I hope the three layouts show how versatile it is. The first layout is very colorful and the other two are fairly monochromatic.

Layout #1 When I saw the colorful lanterns I knew I wanted to incorporate them into a layout. So they were the inspiration for this layout and the colors in the photo of my grandson were perfect.

Layout #2 This layout is for the Give Me Space Challenge. When I saw JoCee Designs’ Weeks of the Year Masks Pack 2, I immediately thought of this challenge. This month the GMS Challenge calls for two photos, so voila!

Layout #3 This layout is for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge. For this challenge, I chose to use photos, stitches and blue. The summer days journal card uses a range of “hot” colors from yellow to red and set the tone for the page because the photos made me think of how hot you get while being buried in sand. For the word art, I sliced and diced two word strip quotes that are included in the kit. They were originally on white paper strips but I removed the paper and kept the quotes.

Wow, wow, wow! There are so many gorgeous new releases July 7th at The Digichick. It was sooo hard to not play with every one of them. I managed to demonstrate enough self control to choose a few and this is what I came up with. All of the new release items are linked to the store and are currently marked down.

Layout #1 This layout combines two new releases. The kit is Inspired by Kimeric Kreations and I used one of the templates in The Nifty Pixel’s Tucked In Vol 1 Page Drafts set. In addition, I used These Are My Dreams for You Mishmashed Edges from Created by Jill.

Layout #3 Snickerdoodle Designs new release is Good Friends. There are so many beautiful elements in this beauty, it’s delightful. I also used another template from The Nifty Pixel’s new template set Tucked In Vol 1 Page Draft.

Layout #4 The next layout uses a two page template from Christaly called Double Page Vol 2. It can be used as a double layout or either side can be used separately. The kit I used is a Free Mini provided by Sas Designs, the featured designer for July’s Designer Spotlight Challenge.
