Have you tried the Droplet Drag and Drop templates for PSE15 yet? They’re so easy you can complete a fabulous layout in five minutes or less. What?? Yes, that’s right. I have a new tutorial to show you just how easy it is. You’re going to love it. As a bonus, these templates can actually be used in Photoshop Elements versions 10-14 too. The drag & drop feature was introduced with version 10 but the grouping included with these templates only works in PSE15. But it’s really no problem. The paper or photo or journal card still resizes automatically and automatically clips to the Frame (photo box). So check out my tutorial and give them a try!
Wow, wow, wow! There are so many gorgeous new releases July 7th at The Digichick. It was sooo hard to not play with every one of them. I managed to demonstrate enough self control to choose a few and this is what I came up with. All of the new release items are linked to the store and are currently marked down.
Layout #1 This layout combines two new releases. The kit is Inspired by Kimeric Kreations and I used one of the templates in The Nifty Pixel’s Tucked In Vol 1 Page Drafts set. In addition, I used These Are My Dreams for You Mishmashed Edges from Created by Jill.
Layout #2 Meagan’s Creations has this super cute and fun Scrub-A-Dub Dub kit.
Layout #3 Snickerdoodle Designs new release is Good Friends. There are so many beautiful elements in this beauty, it’s delightful. I also used another template from The Nifty Pixel’s new template set Tucked In Vol 1 Page Draft.
Layout #4 The next layout uses a two page template from Christaly called Double Page Vol 2. It can be used as a double layout or either side can be used separately. The kit I used is a Free Mini provided by Sas Designs, the featured designer for July’s Designer Spotlight Challenge.
I LOVE challenges. The Digichick has many wonderful challenges every month and I try to do them all. The layout below is for the Template Challenge this month. I used Kimeric Kreations kit, Unforgettable, which was released this week so it’s on sale through Sunday. If you love this kit as much as I do you’ll want to grab it up while it’s on sale.
I love this shadow box template, too. If you’d like to get this free template and play along with the challenge, you’ll find it here.
I love challenges and I love, them even more, when it pays to enter the challenge. Of course, getting paid is usually based on a random drawing or if the layout is selected as a GSO (gallery stand out). It usually pays by way of a free template you get to use for the challenge and sometimes a coupon for a free purchase.
I love Scrapping with Liz templates. I love them so much I have a folder on my computer just for SWL templates. I can count on one hand the number of designers that get their own personal folder! I don’t use personal folders unless I have many, many products by a particular designer. The layout below was created using a template for her March template challenge.
For me, this is a win, win, win, win. I got a free template to participate, used a kit I absolutely love, it was selected by Liz as a gallery stand out for the week AND since it was selected as GSO, I got a coupon to use in her store. Yay!

I absolutely love Created by Jill’s kit “How to Be Awesome”. I didn’t even realize how much I was going to love it until I started working with it. The collection has a feminine and a masculine kit. Some of the elements can be used with either kit. This collection is huge!!
In addition, I used two new templates in Flutterby Templates set by JoCee Designs. These templates are so cool and they make it quick and easy to put a layout together.
First I made a layout using the “feminine” pieces. I liked the results so much I had to use the masculine side too. Here are the layouts I created.
