Yes, I love ladybugs, so when a kit comes out called Lady Bug, Lady Bug, you got me. Not only does this kit have ladybugs, it has tons of glorious colors and elements I love. This layout of “My Loves” was made using two products that are new in the store. I love the template with the confetti and this kit has such beautiful colors and is so versatile, it can be used for much more than Valentine’s day layouts.

Today’s layout, Instinct of Love, is about the love grandparents feel for their grandchildren. Of course, I can’t speak for all grandparents but I believe the vast majority feel the way I do. Grandchildren are a gift from God. Their mere presence brings us such joy it’s palatable.
I was happy to see the word art challenge at The Digichick this month. I wanted to create a layout that demonstrates this instinctual love. I love the soft colors in this kit and the joy in the child’s face as she’s surrounded by love.

I think this kit, Quirky Hearts, by Kimeric Kreations was made for these photos. The wood papers really give it a country feel and it isn’t too “sappy”. The template used with the journal cards and other embellishments made it fast & easy to put together. Links are in the credits below. You do need to be logged into the store. As time goes by it seems we treasure our loved ones even more. This week Kim at Kimeric Kreations released a gorgeous kit “As Time Goes By”. I know you’ll agree, the colors are beautiful. I thought it was a perfect kit to scrap this picture of my mother when she was in her early 20’s. A gorgeous kit for my gorgeous mother.
