I made this for the DigiScrappingDivas challenge using the template freebie from Little Kiss Creations. The background paper is Pamela Yates/Ready for Spring. Everything else is J W Designs/Spring Has Sprung. If you haven’t tried any of the challenges you’re missing out. I thought this one was particularly fun but there’s something new everyday. Here’s my layout…

A New Tutorial is Now Up!
Are you currently using MyMemories Suite to make you digital scrapbooks? Are you interested in trying new things? If you’re not already using it maybe you’re interested in seeing some of the things you can do! I have a new tutorial I just completed about Making a Layout with Diagonal Papers using a Sketch. You can find it here.
Celebrate Life
Today’s word challenge at http://www.digiscrappingdivas.com is Celebrate. I love this picture. Not because it’s the most flattering or best angle, I love it because we’re laughing and loving our time together. I love my granddaughters expression and the way she’s hugging on me.
March Daily Word Challenge List
I can’t believe it’s March already! Another year is flying by. We’ve got our new Daily Word challenge for March. You can play along here.
Perfect!
Today’s challenge word on Digi Scrapping Tips .com is “Perfect”. I made this layout of my son, granddaughter & his girlfriend because through my eyes they’re perfect 🙂 I know nobody is perfect but when you love someone you can forgive anything that’s less than perfect. When the picture was taken they were barbequing and smoke filled the air. I cleaned the picture up using picmonkey. Gizaa designed the kit I used. It’s called Cool and was a freebie I got at digiscrappingfreebies.com. The alpha I used for the word perfect is Toot Sweet Alpha by Jen Yurko. The words were completed using a font called Mister Sirloin BTN Rare. The words I used describe our attitudes toward each other & life. I am so thankful for them.
Same but Different
Today I have a post about using different kits with the same layout. Sometimes after I’ve done a layout that I’m very happy with a designer releases a new kit that is perfect for the pictures I’d used in the previous layout. Here are two layouts done with different kits. I loved the layout on the left but when Touched By A Butterfly released Honey Bear I just had to do it again. You can read the complete post and get my free quickpage here.
Glitter and Glam Country Christmas Tree
Another tree made using the Christmas Tree Tutorial. I used “A Country Christmas” kit designed by Kimeric Kreations.
If you’d like to learn to make this tree here is a link to my tutorial here.
For this tree I used the “scallop rectangle” shape.

A Christmas Tree Challenge
On DigiScrappingTips.com we are still having weekly challenges. This week we are creating Christmas Trees. I’ve always loved Dr Seuss so this tree is for him and “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. It was fun to make & I thought it turned out great. I used “Frosty Time”, a kit designed by Celeste at Touched By A Butterfly. This kit is sooooo cute! Gotta have the it? You’ll find it here. And it’s on sale until December 31st!!!

Weekly Challenge 1 October 2012
I just love the challenge at digiscrappingtips.com this week. The challenge is to create a layout inspired by a song. It can be with or without a photo. For the layout on the left I used a free cluster inspired from a kit called “Feel the Music”. The freebie is no longer available but the kit can be found here. I hope you enjoy the pages. If you would like to participate in the challenges you can join our facebook group here.
In My Fridge!
